This seems to be very extensive tracker. Based on this data, we can make a close analysis of Philadelphia BPC.
In RIR queue, they are currently certifying applications with PD of Sep 2004. We can find some cases with PD later than Sep 04 with status Certified. Those are either lucky ones or those who already reached from SWA to DOL before ended up in BPC. We can find many cases with PD earlier than Sep 04 with status Letter Received. I do not have strong explanation. Those could be either pending in data review or ones who did not care to update their tracking info after being certified or unlucky ones :confused:
In Regular (TR) queue, they are still certifying ones that came from DOL.:mad:

Has Any Senetor Brought An Amendment To Reinstate Ac21 Provison To Eliminate Country Quota(10%), If Demand Of Visas Is Less Than Supply? The Orignial Spector Markup Deleted This Provision From The Ina. This Is A Big Blow To Oversbuscribing Countries, Unless The Current Markup Is Modified Thro An Amendment.

Pappu, then why no to plan for another letter campaign, if that is what making things work a little bit.
It will work only if we can have 10s of thousands of letters.
If admin fixes had so many letters we would have been in a better spot today. With only 5 thousand or something letters and many of them anonymous, we cannot have our hopes very high.
Unless people suffering take the initiative, our initiatives will have a hard time getting results. IV is every member here (and not just core members or chapter leaders) and if members feel the heat of retrogression, they need to take the initiative and get active.
Hope this bulletin will help people focus on action items.

I have pending 485, used Bank of America for my home loan. No problems whatsoever. And, I know loads of people who have bought homes while on H1B or pending 140/485. I believe 2009-2011 will probably be the best time to buy a home. If you can afford it and if you have job security, then you must buy one (rent it if you dont want to live). The aprs available currently is unbelievable (of course, good credit history and the amount you put down will decide mainly).
Did you have unexpired H1B / I-94? In my case I am on EAD / pending I-485 / AOS (expired H1 / I-94) & BOA didn't approve.

Mar 2008- India Eb2 U
Apr 2008- India-Eb2 01 Dec 03
This year may be:
Mar 2009- India Eb2 15 Feb 04

As per March 2009 visa bulletin EB2-China is already 15 Feb 05.
If USCIS repeats last year's pattern of spill over from April then both EB2 China and India move together.
As they move China's dates they need to move India's dates(both share the spill over as retrogressed countries).
Keep guessing on EB2-China's forward movement and most likely would be the same for EB2-India :)

I think they have to be current when they get an appointment or something like that. I am pretty sure that they accounted those 18k as CP numbers
See what I was saying. They are not supposed to grant CP appointments and approvals in July per the regulations. They have decided to bend the rules to approve the currently pending 485s and CPs. They came up with this lame excuse that since the visas were already shipped out to the consular posts ................yada yada. Point is as I said they can't do 18K CP applicatrions in a day at the consulates the way they seem to have done for the 485s. Even this I am not sure.
I doubt whether they have sent out all 60K 485 approvals either, they probably will in the course of the next month or thereabouts.
I'll say it again, they want 485s out but they don't want them in for whatever reason. It is getting clearer.

One of my friends received labor approval from Philly. His priority is October 2003, EB3, Non-RIR. Of course, my PD is from November 2001 and one other guy's is from August 2002. They were not processed, but my friend got a break from the drab BEC. Strange things happen in life. :)

I've sent 7001 to Ombudsman , Contacted Congressional offices and ultimately filed a Service request in Nov 1st week. After all this NSC opened my case yesterday Dec 9th and the status changed to "RFE sent" - there you go ! They bought at least 2 months extra time.
What a bunch of jokers at NSC - my case was extremely straight forward :(

any experience on this?
This is exactly why I am planning to open a company that can work as a pool for people who can use AC21, keep almost all the rate they are getting from market without having Legal Issues. I have atleast couple of people joining the pool immediately.

It will be great if everyone who comes to IV contributes. That would be the ideal case scenario. But I think if there were specific donation drives like the one that is on going, then I believe a lot of people who believe in that cause would contribute and others who dont, wont!
Now, in this donor's only club that IV is proposing to have, what does the core have in mind. Is that going to be a forum where exclusive information is provided? What is the incentive for a "donor" to visit the general public forum? If the "donor"s dont visit the general forum arent you effectively killing off the general forum?
Like I had posted earlier, what stops a donor from making whatever is there in the donors only forum made available to everyone? Isnt this going to cause more divisions within IV?
Instead of forum for donors wouldnt it make more sense to have additional features made available to donors? Say, like having the ability to ask questions to a immigration lawyer or if any lawmaker is ready to answer quetions, the ability to post questions to them. I am all for donors getting a little bit of extra perks, but to have seperate forum... I am not sure if that is the best way for IV to go abt.

This data will be sought by all of us but if we are not ready to support the effort, it will be tough to invest in it. The subscriptions will help us continue IV initiatives with more zeal and we will know that a lot of members support us.
