The Ombudsman's Office invites you to participate in a public teleconference on "Immigration Status Verification for Drivers' Licenses, Public Benefits, and Social Security Cards: A Conversation with USCIS." The Ombudsman's Office will interview guest speakers from USCIS' Office of Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program. SAVE is a status verification system used by Social Security, Public Benefits programs, and certain state and local licensing programs. We will reserve time for your questions, comments, and suggestions.

I went to local USCIS office to expedite my EAD. I got an email from USCIS
...... Upon receipt of your request for expeditious handling, your case was reviewed and a determination was made that we need additional information to make a decision regarding your request. Please fax a letter from your employer to the following number XXX-XXX-XXXX. Please include this notice with your fax......
Do I have to send employment verification letter or something else?
Background:
Company A sponsored my GC (I was on H1B with them). Last year I joined Company B on EAD. But my previous employer told me that they will not revoke my I-140. So why USCIS is asking for letter from Employer.

I was recently on H1B and renewal/extension was denied. So I left promptly to go back to Canada to establish residence there and start working. Now I need to return to the USA to retrieve some personal belongings, wrap up my residence and bring a car back etc...
My question is, when I enter the USA for the first time after being denied H1B will I have a hard time and will they be reluctant for some reason to permit me to enter as a visitor? I can't see why they would but who knows???
My family is still in the US and I need to help to get them prepared to come back

My AP approvals are lost in mail, my employer mailed them in ordinary mail during holiday season (12/11/07). What can I do next? Go thru attorney for duplicates? Please advice.
USCIS will not issue duplicates for AP, you will have to re-apply with a fee.
